Restore to factory settings

Hi there

i have a sony vaio VGN-NR32L i am trying to restore the laptop back to what it was when i first had it...i dont have the disks and when i press F10 it wont let me restore it..also if i go the way through the control panel to restart your computer and continue the recovery...i get this message... Windowa cannot restart the computer into the windows recovery enviroment to complete the recovery operation

any ideas please?

i dont have the discs and the cd player wont even let me burn a disc

i have tried the F10 button but i get this see attached photos

and then when i hit return it just takes me to the desktop

Hi,

usaully pressing F10 repeatedly as soon as you see the Vaio should start the recovery process..

There is always the possibility that the recovery partition has become corrupt in which case you would need to contact Sony Vaio support to purchase a set unless you have already burnt a set yourself..
