Switch off starter sound!

Hi guys, how can I switch off the sound that I hear when logo vaio appears during start?Thanks....sorry for my bad english...:smileycry:

you can do that in BIOS. Click a few times F2 if you switch on your VAIO.

Hi Wilkie,

You will hve to go to Start Menu>Control Panel>Sounds Speech and Audio Devices. After opening Sounds Speech and Audio Devices click Sounds and Audio Devices. After opening Sounds and Audio Devices click on the sound tab and scroll down the program events. Stop at Start Windows and highlight it. Next click on Sounds and scoll back to the entry that says 'None'. Make sure that the Program events has no speaker icon next to it then click apply. The next time you start windows you wont get the start up sound.

the problem is not Windows sound but vaio one...so I try What seb21 said...!thanks!:smileywink:
