Camera SLT-A55V Monitor problem

Old camera, tried to change LCD but messed up. Now it's a blank monitor, can't find an LCD with the housing as that's where the problem lies (a ribbon within the housing broke). Plenty of LCDs on the market but not with the actual plastic housing itself.

Question, been thinking, is there any way I can connect the camera to my iphone? so the iphone becomes the monitor instead?

Hi,

You cannot connect the A55 to a smartphone unfortunately.

But please contact Sony's spare part distributor EET Europarts - maybe they can help with the flex board.

Else you might want to contact an authorized service centre and ask them if they can send you the part.
