Sony A7ii Unable to read memory card. please reinsert memory card

HI,

My brand new A7ii just arrived and I keep getting the above message. I have tried 3 different memory cards including a brand new Scan disk Extreme 128. I have turned on and off in reinserted multiple times but still doesnt work. I have reformated cards on a PC because cant do it in the camera.

Please help?

Hi there, sorry to hear this. On the Manual it says the following:

An incompatible memory card is inserted.
The memory card is damaged.
The terminal section of the memory card is dirty.

But it might be the format you used on the PC, try to format it to one of the formats on this link: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/e-mount-body-ilce-7-series/ilce-7m2/specifications then give it a go.
