Turn off 6x zoom when using manual focus?

I was messing around with the A7r iii and when doing manual focus adjustment with the big screen, it zooms in 6x and is really quite a bother to the workflow.

It's too much zoom/can't control it and I lose the object I was trying to focus on like a plant/butterfly/something small...192.168.0.1

Yes a constant/active AF is what makes Sony so good, but I was doing a macro to test how fine the manual controls were...

Is there a way to reduce that zooming to 1x or maybe 2x when tweaking the focus?192.168.l.l

I am a little confused - are you maybe referring to the focus magnification?
