Imaging edge viewer slowing my workflow

I use Imaging Edge Viewer to review the shots I have taken because it renders the Sony RAW files faster than other applications. However there is a problem which massively slows my workflow. When I delete a few images, the software reverts the selection in the thumbnail display to the very first image in the collection rather than the next image from the last one I have deleted. This means I then have to scroll to find the next image I want to review.

I would imagine it is a simple logic correction in the software's code to fix this and it would make the software so much more efficient.

Has anyone else experienced this and would Sony be open to change it?
