Has anyone had issues with the Nex-5n and cold weather?

It was windy and cold today - but nothing worth mentioning - except for the fact that my new Nex-5n supposedly didn't like it at all. In fact, it dosn't work now. I removed the battery, even replaced it with a new one fully charged, nothing helps. I see a black screen, and can do absolutely nothing. Has anyone any advice on this? Had had lots of cameras before that worked beautifully in frost and snow. Is Nex-5n only meant for the tropics?

Hi,

I spent 3 days in mountains with nex-5n last weekend. Most of the time it was below zero (Celcius), sometimes -10C. But it was quit dry, only some mist, without snow.

Didn't see any issue during this days. I made approximately 350 shots and the battery still had 1/3 of charge.

Has anyone had issues with the Nex-5n and cold weather?

Thank you very much for your answer. Other users have reported no problems with the first version of the Nex 5 under frosty conditions, so my issue is likely caused by something else than the weather. I'll hopefully know more when I get it back from repair.
