Nex 5N in action.

Hello!I

Is it possible to turn off the movie button so the recording does not start by accident?

This happens sometimes when you work with the camera in a low possition and the screen is horizontal .

Hi Bjorn, welcome to the Sony Forums

There's no way of disactivating the button, I'm afraid. It is something of a bone of contention with some 5N owners and there have been some interesting user innovations to overcome the accidental pressing of it.

The design of the newer NEX-5R has clearly recognised this and the button now resides on a much less prone place on the camera body.
