Why black and white when using movie, P, A, S, using mode dial?

Hi,

New to using my new Alpha 65a mode dial selections and cannot get any colour when using the above! I can get colour when using the movie button but not when i select the mode dial selection. The P, A, S and M selections are always in black and white - help please! What have I missed?

This sort of problem is often due to some setting or other that has been selected inadvertently. The best way to find out is to reset the camera's 'record' functions.

You'll find Rec mode reset as an option on the Initialize screen. To get there, press the Menu button and select Setup menu 3. Highlight Initialize and press Enter.

You should also see the Reset Default option on that screen. If the Record mode reset doesn't work, you could try that. You'll need to power the camera off and on again afterwards to complete the process.
