Having problems pairing tv to bass box

Hello we have just purchased a Sony Bravia KD65XD8599BU and we already have a Sony bass. box GTK-X1BT. Our last tv was a Samsung and we connected it with a phono lead but with the new tv it should be able to pair via Bluetooth but it won't!

We cant connect it with a lead as the tv has no audio out and if we use the headphone port we will lose the sound on the tv. Is there a way round this as I was expecting them to just pair easily as their both Sony?
