Sony XAV-AX1000 Aerial issues all OK until you plug a phone into the USB.

Got an XAV-AX1000 plugged into a VW Transporter and everything is good except the radio reception.

It is OK until you plug a phone into the USB port to connect to Carplay, or just to charge.

As soon as you do this, the reception is lost.

Anybody got any ideas?
