Vibrate on alarm stopped working since update

I updated the xperia software last week. On Monday I woke up 10 minutes after I was supposed to set off for work.(got in just in time) I figured I had dismissed my alarm in my sleep. This morning my alarm didn't wake.me up either.

I've had a mess around with it and basically it no longer vibrates. (I have it set to vibrate only as I get up early)

Vibrate seems to work fine in everything else. My phone isn't on power saving mode or anything. Is this a bug with the software update?

@DanF Try settings - apps, look for clocks, force stop and clear data. Set an alarm right away to see if it helped.

@DanF One more try with: settings - apps, tap on 3 dots and reset app preferences. Note that this will reset your ringtones etc.

Still nothing. Thanks for trying. Maybe best to download an alarm from the store?

You could try that. Also, you can boot in safe mode and see if vibration works from there.

Unfortunately still the same even in safe mode. Weird

Download a 3rd party alarm from google play and keep us updated.

Downloaded one at works fine. Guess will just stick with that and try android one after next updates
