Z2 restarts when connected to charger

my z2 keeps turning on and off while connected to a charger, it flashes the sony logo then turns off then flashes the sony logo and turns off again, and if it is not plugged, it cant turn on, i tried pressing the volume up and the power button then, again nothing happens. pc companion detected my phone, factory resetted it and still the same results. any help or ideas? that would be much appreciated.

by factory reset you mean software repair using Xperia Companion?

try to use other cable, charge using the wallmount adapter, and try to remove the sd card and sim..

Hi @Pndaa,

I would suggest that you start by performing a software repair using Xperia Companion, should that not help I recommend that you contact your Local support in order to have your device sent to an authorized service center.

tried many methods, im going to take this phone to a nearby sony repair shop.
