How to unlock my password??!!

Hi guys
I seta password on my phone and I forgot it
How can I unlock it without losing any data
I tried logging into my Xperia but I didn't find my phone
My phone android version is 6.0.1

As long as the phone belongs to you and meets the criteria either MyXperia or Android Device Manager is the only solution

Other than that you will lose everything unless the phone it's encrypted

The phone belongs to me but I didnt activate my Xperia and there are solutions for Android versions 4.4 and lower but my version is 6.0 how come there isnt any solution for it and I dont wanna lose my data
Isnt updateing all about improving??!!

What do you mean by other solutions on 4.4 and lower? there aren't, if you forgot the password on your device, and if doesn't meet the criteria on that guide, there's nothing that can be done, that's to protect your private data in case someone get a hold of your phone.

Try log-in to your Google account in your desktop or another device and to go their android device manager page, you can usually, lock, erase or locate. Once the phone is on Wi-Fi or mobile data internet access then it should be found. Just lock the device remotely and unlock on the phone, I think I used that one and you can set a new pattern or password.

That's the worst way to protect my phone I just forgrt it and now.i cant access my phone!!!

It's to protect your private data, how come it's not working? does your phone meet the criteria listed in that guide?

It meets all the points except the last one I didnt turn on my Xperia
And I cant even format the phone

I just entered my Google password and then I changed my screen lock password and wait about 20 minutes till it had changed on my device.
