system UI stopped working after updating

Hi, my z3c stopped working after I updated to the latest firmware. Now, I can't even turn it on, it keeps giving me unfortunately, system UI has stopped working. I have tried software repairing it at least 5 times. And I had also tried to reboot it in safe mode. I have also tried the pressing the power and volume down button.

i can't update it again or restore it as I password locked my phone. I cant unlock it due to the fact that my phone wont start properly. i have tried the android device manager but my phone isnt connected to the wifi so i cant do much there.

I had updated it via data instead of Xperia companion just in case you're wondering.

I really dont know what else i can do so any advice would be much appreciated.

hi thanks for you reply. Nothing happened actually. It says that it has been repaired but the problem persists.

Yes i have. I've tried it in both the normal and safe mode. I'll try it again and hope that it works this time

i am having the same issue - did repair a few times and still getting message saying "System UI has stopped" Got in contact with Sont who told me to keep checking Companion for updates........ no timelines - in the meantime I am phoneless

Fixed - it was the memory card that caused the System UI failure - once removed it was fine (even though memory card wasnt corruped)
