DK31 + USB OTG at the same time? Is it possible?

I want to use my Z1 in more advanced config. This question would apply to the Tablet Z too, but since I own Z1 and don't change to Tablet Z in forseable future I want to do the following setup:

1) Connect Z1 using Miracast to TV

2) Place (and charge) it on a DK31

3) Connect external drive or accessories using USB-OTG port

Now the question:

Is it safe to use charging stand and connecting OTG accessory at the same time?

Are power lines separated or something will burn and destory phone and/or accessories?

According to me it should work fine as...your pen drive is not powering your Z1 only dock is providing power to Z1

Dock is providing power but at the same time Z1 is providing power to pendrive. If power lines of USB port are directly connected to dock power connector strange things can happen. I will wait for Sony's green or red light for this combination.

when phone is docked into the DK31, the USB port is blocked. Kinda hard to attach OTG to it.

As andygoh says, the dock is blocking the USB-port so this will not work.

But as for using the USB-port while charging, i tried connecting power to the charging points on the side and USB still works fine when i connect a USB-drive.

No information on internet or elsewhere on what will happen if we chage a xperia Z phone through magnetic port AND plug in the MicroUSB port a MHL cable to cast HDMI to a big screen what will happen !!!????

Magnetic port will have the priority for charging ? Or not.

This is not an experiment without a purpose. Dear SONY manufacturer;s team : I think you are well aware about the fact that while using MHL cable the phone is NOT charging enough through the MHL cable !!!!!!

So , I would like a OFFICIAL answer from SONY
