Transfer to & from SD Card

Morning All,

I have done a search but can't find a thread relating specifically to my query, which is two-fold:

I can transfer photos, videos & music to SD card via SETTINGS - STORAGE - TRANSFER DATA TO SD CARD but I can't see any option to transfer any other files. I'm thinking downloads such as spreadsheets but also apps. Any idea?
Also, how do I transfer back from SD card to internal storage, please?

For both questions, the answer is to use a file manager (You should have File Commander installed by default) to copy or move files in your phone. You'll not be able to modify system files though.

I do have File Commander but I seem to struggle moving items from one area to another - in that I move the files but then when I look in the various app places some of the files don't seem to have moved!!!!

I can't transfer anything to a SID card. I go to file manager and I haven't any things to transfer but apps which are installed by Sony. Now I can't use My Apps because I haven't enough storage space but it won't let me transfer to a new SID card
