I've tried both in Lollipop (Android 5) and Marshmallow (Android 6), the behaviour is the same in both of these. There's not a way to make the FM-Radio use the Equalizer that I know of.

Sound settings (ie equalizer) in my Z3C don't affect FM radio. Is that normal? With other sources like mp3's or spotify it works fine...

Hi @mikemek,

I've tried it out in several devices and the FM-Radio is not affected by the Equalizer. The Equalizer is not active in all apps by default, the specific media app has to request to use the Equalizer for it to be active during playback.

Thanks for the reply Emir, at least I know it's not a malfunction. I think it's strange though... one would assume that system settings affect sound from all sources. Can't really imagine why Sony didn't allow to use system eqalizer or include one in radio app they provide

Anyway, is there a way to force FM radio to use sound settings? My system ver. is 5.1.1, is it the same with other versions?
