Z3 Compact Update Error

I'm really in desperate measure. I've tried searching the net for solutions for my update error but none of them work. Any thoughts? Here's the screenshot of the error I'm having.

I tried using the repair options in Sony PC Companion because there's a deadspot above the screen and the tech support suggested to the repair but I'm having a hard time on how to make this succeed. I hope some guru might help me find a way to work this out.

Make sure that firewall or antivirus is not blocking PC Companion, also make sure you have enough space on you hard disk. Try restarting your PC, reinstalling PC Companion and if nothing gets to work try using a different PC/laptop.

Hi! Thanks for the help! It turns out, I just need to reconnect directly to the USB port not in the front hub of my pc and it worked! Thank you very much!

Please describe the situation a bit better.

First, does your phone work?

Second, is the update offered as OTA (does the phone notify you about the update)?

I have the same problem with my phone, i was notify by my phone that an update to marshmallow is available.but when i finish my download its starts all over again

Update Z3 Compact right now. Can Nothing with the phone!!!
Its only the voice which speak half Swedish half English. I press on but nhoting happens!
