No vibration after update to 5.1.1

After updating to 5.1.1, about 10 days later today I realize that vibration is not working. So I diagnos the phone, but vibration test failed.
This is very irritating, while driving bike always miss important calls.

Please find any solution.

Hi,

Could you try to boot the phone into safe mode and try the vibration once again via Diagnostics?

While repairing with Sony PC Companion 2.1.10, it shows,

Details:
Sony update Engine doesn't have software available for your device.

Could you check the active customization via the service menu? You can see this if you go to the dialer > enter *#*#7378423#*#* > Service info > Software info > Active customization, what does it say here?

I suggest that you try to force a shutdown of the device by holding down the OFF button which is located behind the Micro SIM-card cover. You can use a pen or a similar object to hold it down until a series of vibrations appear. Try the software repair once again.

Otherwise, do you have the possibility to try on another PC? Prefer a computer located in another network.

Sony PC companion not worked on windows 10, so I repaired my phone on windows 7 pc. Sucessfully repaired, but still no vibration.

Sorry to hear that it's still now working. Unfortunately, if a software repair did not help, I think this needs to be examined by a technician at an authorized service center. I suggest that you contact your Local support for information about nearest service center and/or how to proceed with this in the best possible way.

Today received new update 14.6.a.1.236, updated the phone but no vibration 📳.
So I again go for diagnostics , but no vibration under vibration test.
So I go for accelerometer test, and forcefully shake my phone( in frustration), at first vibrates slowly, then bingo.... Vibration backs.... 😊. I think vibration motor stuck somewhere. Feeling relieved.

@медия I'm sorry to hear that. The vibration does not work even if you restart your phone into safe mode?

If it stopped working after you installed a specific app you could of course try uninstalling that app. If the app is the cause you should get in touch with the app's developers and report this to them.

My active customization says: 1288-5811_R3C anf vibrates not work after update to new android version.
Could you find any sollution?
