Music has disappeared

Recently bought an Sd card as memory on XA is shocking for the amount of music I store.

After transferring all my media to Sd I realised that all my music has disappeared from my phone. All my other media, photos, videos etc are all accessible.

How can I play my music from my sd card? It all transfered OK but can't see it on phone now

did you reformat the sd card first?

what are the file format of the music files?

Yes I formatted first, and majority of music is mp3. I had it all stored on phone but as I was low on storage I transfered to Sd now can't access it at all.
