Hi I asked this question yesturday but my post has disapperared.

I have andoid 8 currently and have not got a update since febuary I am looking forward to android 9 as it has a dark mode available as I hate the light theme on my phone.

The Xperia XA1-series was not in the list of models that received Android Pie and since the update was released a year ago and no other devices that was not in the list has received the update, it's very unlikely that the Xperia XA1-series will receive Android Pie a year after it was released.

Our devices does not have dark mode even with Android Pie, so even if the update would be available, you would not have this feature.
