Missed call icon wont go away Sony Xperia xa2

So I've had missed calls and it won't clear its still saying I have missed call I've deleted all the call log I've restarted phone and also don't a factory reset that worked till I got another missed call and its back please help its annoying

I have the same problem. I deleted s hedule of calls, restart Phone, but on icon is still missing call (number)

Go into phone on app storage, clear cache and also data. Badge notification disappears

Hi everyone, sorry for the late answer here but let me see if I can help out!

If your device has the Google Phone app and not the Xperia phone app, this behaviour will be fixed in a new update for the application that will be released and available in the Google Play store around October 21-25, so keep an eye out there.

If the phone application icon is blue and the phone inside of it is white, you have the Google phone app.

It seems like I got the Google Phone app (Phone icon is white, circle around is blue) but I'm having the missed calls issue and its super annoying. Please help.

EDIT: Nevermind, I updated manually and restartet and its fixed
