Anyone else getting pop up ads after they have restated their phones?

I have blocked them in setting already and still popping up!

Really getting on my nerves!

Hi @TA78, welcome to our forum and that sounds very annoying.

Ads are almost always coming from a downloaded application and there a mode in the device called safe mode where the device will be booted up with only the pre-installed applications running.

Try restarting the device in this mode and see if you still get ads after restarting the device, so we can determine what the cause is.

Tried it and it deleted loads of apps i needed lol

So turned it off, and back to square one.

@TA78, yeah that is the tricky part, trying to find out which application is the cause of this.

From my own experience, it's mostly apps that are supposed to clean the device, boost the performance, improve the battery life and so on. There could of course be other applications as well, but those are a good starting point if it should occur again for you.

Hopefully they don't show up again though!
