      <description>&lt;P&gt;Suddenly cant connect to mobile network and its nothing to do with my account...... Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If another SIM card woks better, I suggest that you get in contact with your service provider in order to get a new SIM card.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Another thing that you can try is to manually search for a network. In order to do this find&amp;nbsp;and tap&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Network &amp;amp; Internet&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Mobile network&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Advanced &amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;Tap&amp;nbsp;the "&lt;STRONG&gt;Automatically select network"&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;switch to disable automatic network selection &amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;Select a network in the list that appears.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try these measures and let me know how it goes!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Martin,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Having the same problem with my XA1.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Removed SIM card it works fine in other phones.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Installed another SIM card. Nothing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have manually searched for networks, selected (correct) network from the list available sit here for a minute with a spinning circle and "Registering on O2-UK..." message comes back "Could not connect to network now. Please try again later."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All updates have been installed.&lt;BR /&gt;Android 8.0.0&lt;BR /&gt;Xperia System Update 48.1.A.2.112&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Not impressed with this on a 13 month old phone...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1264128"&gt;@PeteMon&lt;/A&gt;, sorry to hear that you are affected by this as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In that case it might be a good idea to try a &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/FAQ/How-to-perform-a-software-repair-with-Xperia-Companion/m-p/1103057" target="_self"&gt;software repair using Xperia Companion&lt;/A&gt; and a computer. do note that a software repair will erase all user data from the phone, so it is advised to do a &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/FAQ/How-to-backup-and-restore-your-files-using-Xperia-Companion/m-p/1117112" target="_self"&gt;backup&lt;/A&gt; before the repair to avoid data loss.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And if the software repair do not manage to improve the signal strength, I believe&amp;nbsp;that the best thing to do is to have the phone physically examined and repaired. In that case, please get in contact with your &lt;A href="https://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/contactUs/" target="_self" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;local support team&lt;/A&gt;, they should be able to arrange for the phone to be sent to an authorized service center as well as answer questions regarding local warranty and consumer laws.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Feel free to keep me posted with how it goes!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Backed everything up. Did the software repair, nothing!! Exactly the same, "Could not connect to network now. Please try again later."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Not impressed that it should fail at 13 months old&lt;/P&gt;</description>
