sony XA won't turn on but led is red when connect charger

At night when I'm in a meeting, I wanted to take pictures / documentation of the meeting.
After I took the pictures, which happened to hang my phone lcd white and striped, 1 minute and then automatically restart and ended up stuck in the Sony logo and death can not turn back.
However, when I connect with a charger, led notification indicator is red, lcd keep turning off and not vibrating.
When The power button is pressed, there is no response at all.
I hope here can get a solution to get back to normal.

Hold volume up and the power button for ten seconds to hard restart the phone, you should feel multiple vibrations

Hi @nocacad, sorry to hear about that.

In addition to what @Viridis, have you tried charging the device for at least an hour? It may take up to thirty minutes before a completely drained device responds to charging, and during this time it may seem like the device is dead.

Have you also tried charging using different power sources and USB cables? Did you make sure that the accessories you used to charge the device are original SONY accessories?

If you have an SD- and SIM card mounted, could you try dismounting these and then try starting the device?

Could you also try performing a software repair using Xperia Companion in order to rule out that it's software related, but other than that I'm afraid that I can only refer you to have your device sent to service.

In order to have your device sent to an authorized service center, I recommend that you get in touch with your Local support in order to be assisted. They are well informed regarding the service routines, warranty terms and consumer laws in your local market. I wish I could assist, but since I am based in the Nordics I am afraid that my market knowledge is limited to the one I'm situated in.

This problem is on all XA and XA ULTRA. I dont know, this hardware or software problem, but i see it on all firmwares

Of course, I tried everything, I have long smartphones Sony and I know how to repair/flash/etc them. I am attaching a link to a file with the log. First connect the charger was successful, and after the second smartphone has not woken up

I think it's a bug systemui, because when you connect the charger with bug, the screen does not turn exactly as long as it is switched on when you connect without the bug (about 10 seconds), and then the system should pay off the screen, and at this moment it is turned on and fades away

I also face the same problem, I just bought my Xperia xa dual last month and suddenly off and have tried all ways. I have long Sony mobile and I know how to fix if problem like this happen cause there is manual button off, but for xa dual I can't find it.

Hi! The same thing happened to my XA Ultra. When plugged in, red LED light shows but the device won't turn on. Is there already a fix for this? Thank you.

same here ,,please help for this problem,,,my xperia xa ultra wont turn on,, after i used flash tool to install firmware for my phone xperia xa , after successfully installed, it won't turn on but led is red when connect charger

hi did u solve your problem?cause we are same. i flashed it using flashtool after flashing, device did not boot normally it show red light notification instead.

hello, I'mhaving the same problem. Phone started playing up with screen yesterday, it won't let me unlock and screen kept flickering. then the screen went completely black. I know it is on because I still receive calls and messages. I've triedeveruthing. When I take the sim and sd card out it restarts and goes black again. I've tried holding power buttom and volume as well, I've tried performing a system reset with the pc but it won't work because I can't switch the phone off.

Anything else I could do before sending phone to repair please?

i have the same problem, but in this case i used flashtool to upgrade my phone, but when i try to turn it on, it wont start. i plugged into my laptop but i cant go either on flashmode o fastboot mode just the red light goes on, the same when i connected to the charger.

can someone tell me what can I do?

I am having the exact same problem and i have tried everything you have listed above but it still does not turn on and is not charging. i have had it plugged for over 6 hours and the red led still shows but no charge. what should i do in ths case?

Hi , i am having the same problem, have sent the phone to the repair/quote address, just had a reply but guess what! this problem is not covered by the warranty!!!

seems like a common fault , but something that is not repairable , been offered a replacement for £140!! some warranty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday my XA starts to swich off with out a cause. Today is death as people says in the post, I did everything but nothing works.
