      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;xh9005 TV and Xbox series X&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;the Xbox plugged into hdmi 4&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Earc turned on in hdmi 3 outputting to earc capable receiver&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;48gbps cables&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Correct settings applied to hdmi inputs&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;When setting spatial audio to be outputed to receiver, the sound keeps dropping.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I select uncompressed audio formats, it seams ok&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Given earc should pass through these audio formats, the sound drops every second.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is this a bug with recent firmware earc update to this TV?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm experiencing the same issue. I have found that while the Xbox is powered on and you have the settings on the xbox set to 4k 120htz if you then go in to the TV setting under about and do a "restart" it will power cycley the TV and when it comes back on you will have audio and can play the xbox with no issues.&amp;nbsp; However you have to do this every time you want to play.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Just bought this 85X900H and have my Xbox Series X hooked up to the TV via the HDMI that came with the Xbox to HDMI port 4 with enhanced turned on in the TV settings for both port 3 and 4. I have eArc enabled with a certified HDMI 2.1 cable going from port 3 to my AVR. 4k/60hz with Atmos passthrough no problem. But as soon as I turn the Xbox to 4k/120hz I get audio cut out every 10 seconds. If I downgrade the audio settings in the Xbox to 5.1 uncompressed I don't lose audio but thats the point.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This TV should be able to handle 4k/120hz with atmos pass though as advertised but it can't. Ps5 owners are having the same issue and that indicates it's a software or hardware issue within the TV. Does Sony have any plans to fix this since it seems very widespread? Just search for audio cut on 4k/120hz X900h and you will see plenty of forums discussing it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've also tried all the tips of changing the remote settings, IP control, power reset through the remote and even a factory reset. None of that works.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No update has solved this issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried various things recently.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- toggling earc off and setting the audio to dolby digital from xbox to pass through, better results than atmos, but still drops&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- turning of pass through and getting tv to process audio which results into audio lag&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only thing that works is uncompressed audio set on xbox with 120hz set.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can also confirm that my friends PS5 he borrowed me was giving similar results when set to digital audio and playing a game 120hz.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's definitely the tv &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt; .&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV&gt;Thank you for the response Joe. I did reach out to Sony support to make a case and provide them the feedback. The tech was unaware of the issue and didn't have any knowledge articles to assist. I told him that this issue seems pretty widespread because a Google search for X900h 4k/120hz audio will result in discussions from forums like Reddit, CNET and even the official Sony forum about the issue and it impacting both PS5 and Xbox Series X.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;He said he sent my feedback upstream so hopefully that helps raise awareness this is an issue that needs patched. If you have any other suggestions or updates I'd love to hear from you because I'm excited about this TV and hoping it can run the features it's advertised to do.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Thanks again for the response and looking forward to hearing back from you and others as Sony hopefully works this out.&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
